What's happening in StartupExperts?

As we wrap up November and head into the final stretch of the year, the StartupExperts community continues to grow, connect, and celebrate milestones together. This month has been filled with energy — more than ten events hosted across in-person and online spaces, new members joining, and plenty of opportunities to learn and collaborate.

We kicked off last month by welcoming 37 new members into the community — a reminder of how much StartupExperts continues to thrive through shared experience and collective generosity. Whether joining their first event or reconnecting at one of our regional gatherings, members continue to embody the Go-Giver spirit that makes this group so unique. Be sure to stop by our LinkedIn post to see who’s joined and give them a warm StartupExperts welcome!

We also wrapped up the first session of the last quarter of our AI Learning Journey, where members continue exploring how AI can empower leaders to reduce friction, create capacity, and strengthen decision-making across HR, Finance, and Ops. Don’t miss the final session coming up on December 17th — it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and what’s next as we move into 2026!

Our Becoming Better with StartupExperts podcast also continues to release new weekly episodes featuring our 25 Leaders to Follow in 2025 — spotlighting the stories, lessons, and perspectives shaping the future of leadership. You can listen to the latest episodes on our Spotify account and join the conversation around what it means to keep becoming better, together.

We’re also thrilled to share that our Friday Forum series — designed around topics focused on professional development — is officially kicking off! These sessions are a space for open dialogue, shared learning, and connection across our community of HR, Finance, and Ops leaders. Each conversation will explore real challenges and opportunities that come with leading and growing in our roles. We’re excited to see this series come to life and look forward to learning together — one Friday at a time.

Last month, we also celebrated leadership transitions within our community — welcoming Cat Allison, who will be leading Friday Forums, and Patrick Brand, our new Director of Social Media Strategy, while expressing our heartfelt thanks to Stuart Goldstein as he steps down from his role as VP of Operations & Strategy. Each of them has made a meaningful mark on StartupExperts — from strengthening our operational foundation to fostering open dialogue and amplifying member voices. Their collective impact reflects the spirit of collaboration, learning, and generosity that continues to move our community forward.

Finally, if you haven’t already, check out our new Social Impact Newsletter posted on our #social-impact Slack channel, featuring practical insights on how volunteering can fuel career growth and community connection. You’ll also find details on the new Volunteer of the Quarter Program — a celebration of members giving back and leading with purpose.

It’s been a full and inspiring October (and we’re almost at the end of November!) — and as we move toward year-end, we’re excited to keep building momentum together. Here’s to more learning, connection, and community spirit as we close out 2025 strong. 🎃
